Description:

This is a digitization of the "High Fire Hazard Area Map" for Santa Barbara County. The digitized file originated from the Fire Dept. as a roughly drafted version, which I cleaned up to more closely follow the features on the actual paper map (where said features can be distinguished). Note that this map has not been updated in many years, and the Fire Dept. has indicated that they plan on overhauling the map in the near future to make it more accurate and reflective of reality.
