Agricultural "Areas of Importance" (EEMS b09)

Jan 24, 2017 (Last modified Jun 21, 2017)
Description:
This is one of the SB Blueprint's synthesis products using the Environmental Evaluation Modeling System (EEMS).

Upon opening the map, click on the EEMS Explorer icon in the layers tab. (See also the 4 minute EEMS Explorer introductory video.)

This model shows areas of interest for agricultural use by overlaying a variety of input criteria layers.

All of the input layers are shown in the EEMS Explorer window, as well as how they are overlaid.  A list of the layers is also in the "Data layers" tab of this synthesis data layer's home page, and the logic model diagram is available online.

For an overview, webinar, and peer reviewed publication about EEMS, please see the EEMS home page. (Note that our EEMS models do not use "fuzzy logic".)  See also the SB Blueprint webpage for a project overview.
