Description:

Contains most of the building footprints for Santa Barbara County. Microsoft estimates coverage at 90-93%.

The building extraction was done by Microsoft in two stages:

  1. Semantic Segmentation - Recognizing building pixels on the aerial image using DNNs

  2. Polygonization - Converting building pixel blobs into polygons
